Business Rules

Set up rules to automate creation of procedures and services

Business rules are used to link procedures or to set automated reminders, e.g., a vaccination program. All Procedures will need to be added via Settings/Service and Products. Once this is done, the business rules can be set under Settings > Business Rules.

There are three types of Business rules

  • Linked procedures
  • Procedure reminders
  • Linking products to procedures 

The business rules are set up under the two tabs at the top of the list

  • Service automation - link procedure to a main procedure or set reminders within a set period
  • Service template - link products to a procedure for inventory requirements and invoicing purposes
